Question people...

I know I don't post much here... But I really would like some advice on this..

Detective Latener, I know I told you the situation, so please don't give it away. I know as a cop your duty is to protect the innocent right? Something tells me that he is.

Okay... That said... Guess I should tell the situation.

One of the guys I'm friends with is in this situation. Someone's holding the truth about a situation that happened a few years ago over his head. According to the one holding said information he killed a woman.

Now, I've been with him the last few days, and the only time I ever witnessed him hitting something was after a meeting with the guy who's holding this information, in the form of a tape, and that was only a punching bag. I still think that punching bag was looking at him funny too. It really deserved to be decked. Over heard it telling the weights that he was a good lay too. *Has a feeling she's gonna get thwapped for that one, but damnit, had to cheer everyone up before I went into the question*

*Getting serious again* Well... I didn't mean to read my friend's journal, but I found out other things about the guy with the tape that frankly make it hard not to go kill the bastard. I mean when it all started my friend was only 13. Shit, he's the Bastard's own son. That's not something that you'd do to your own blood. Let alone a fucking kid.

Hell, if I wrote it here I'm pretty sure there'd be a waiting line. And I'm pretty sure Frank would be in the line. Seems like the kinda scum he'd gladly deal with.

Hm... Anyway... I'm wondering if a video tape and one person's word could put an innocent man behind bars? I don't want that to happen so I'm trying my best to keep it from being leaked to the press. The cops I'm going to let look into it, I'm sure won't let anyone else know about it. That's why I'm keeping names out of this and hoping that if he sees it he stays quiet about it. I don't want him in anymore danger than he already is.

*Looks to her friend, begging him with her eyes to stay quiet* And if the tape can put him away... what can I do to prevent it? Because the guy's a good man. Hell, if things had been different when he was growing up, I have a feeling that he wouldn't be in the position he is in now.

*Hopes she made sense with all of that*
