Among the many denizens of interesting sizes and shapes in the Nexus,…

Among the many denizens of interesting sizes and shapes in the Nexus, today one could be found in the form of a teenage boy sitting on an arm of a couch. He's holding the biggest cup of the most expensive coffee he could find, wearing a hat shoved over his short hair, and looks quite happy to be here.

Unhealthy was the best way to describe how Enzan looked now. He was still too pale and too thin (despite his best efforts to fix the latter). He kept his left arm tucked against his abdomen and wore something that looked like a hospital bracelet made out of metal on the wrist.

"If you were... ah, imprisoned, or grounded, or just stuck in one place for a long period of time, what's the first thing you would want to do once you were free again?"

"HUGGING!" Here, have a Sarah coming at you! She may be just a little bit happy to see you.

Just a bit.

AH NO WATCH THE - okay, never mind, he can put the coffee down. Let the hugging commence!

"Hi, Sarah."

((sjsdhfjdanddj oh my god that icon. :D))

"And maybe run around for hours. That might happen too." She grins and backs up to let Enzan breathe a little after her Squeeze 'O Death. "Finally got out, huh?"

(( fffff I had to okay ♥ ))

Sherry is lounging on one of the comfy white couches as well, simply leaned back. Relaxing. Her head had finally stopped pounding, and she was basking in the wonderful feeling of peace that came with not hurting in any shape, form or fashion.

"Travel, probably. Get a good amount of fresh air into my system. I can't stand being cooped up in one place for too long... Drives me haywire."

It's couch conversation time! They were very useful for this sort of thing, even though Enzan refused to be like a normal person and sit on it properly.

"I should do that." He needs to make a list or something. "Believe me, I went crazy. It wasn't fun."

He took a moment to figure out what SO meant (you crazy kids and your slang these days), and smiled in a hopeful 'don't get made at me look.'

You know, the one that makes him look sort of puppyish.

"I did mention it would be soon?"

"Depending on how long I was in for, it'd probably be something really silly, like going shopping or something." Have a Bastet, Enzan! Isn't this a rare sight?
8th-Apr-2009 04:22 am (UTC)
"That sounds like a normal... girl thing."

Forgive him for staring, Bastet, he doesn't mean it.
8th-Apr-2009 04:23 am (UTC)
"I have my moments of normalcy, thank you." And mature as ever, she sticks her tongue out at him while winking, "You doin' okay?" Bastet's way of saying 'Dude, you look like hell.'

You're already doing it. The Nexus is the closest I really get to freedom, so not counting sleeping -- which, if I were grounded or in stir*, I'd have been doing lots of already -- my first inclination on being left to my own devices is to go hang out there. (For example, I'd love to do that right now, but the time I can sneak out from crap going on here at the moment is rare except in an emergency.)

Anyway, glad to see you're back, dude.

*On the long-standing advice of my legal counsel, I must point out that my record is technically clean and that any instances of incarceration have been unfortunate misunderstandings. >_>

I'm glad to be back. I think I agree - I'd rather be here than a lot of the places I can think of.

Hello, Enzan. Hisa's here to make you feel better. Or worse, maybe.

"I'd make sure whoever put me there would never be able to do that again..."
8th-Apr-2009 03:13 pm (UTC)
Enzan gave him a twisted smile. "It was an accident."

This is a lie.
8th-Apr-2009 07:57 pm (UTC)
"It was an accident that you were trapped?" Well, now, that isn't any fun. "How did it happen?"

"Gerald?" The hand makes him jump, but he didn't move quite yet. Invisibility was familiar territory, just not here.

"Should you be out?" Where he came from is irrelevant, but Terry will announce himself like that.
8th-Apr-2009 11:21 pm (UTC)
Enzan set the coffee down slowly. (Not that it mattered, because it immediately tipped and met its splattering fate on the floor.)

He paid no attention. Instead, Enzan wrapped both arms around Terry - gently and slowly - and buried his face into Terry's shirt.

"Terry."

"Before or after I kicked the ass of the person who did it to me?" And, really. It'd be either Bishop or Fitzroy and they'd both deserve it.

Shard drops down on the other end of the couch, looking at him seriously for a moment. "Pizza, I think."
8th-Apr-2009 11:24 pm (UTC)
Finger quotations, Shard, you can has them. Pay no attention to the fact that he moves his left arm as little as possible when not actually engaged in the finger quotations.

"'Accident.' But I actually don't like pizza."
8th-Apr-2009 11:28 pm (UTC)
"You didn't say accident. You said imprisoned or grounded," Shard points out reasonably. And if she notes him not moving his left arm? Well, she's not going to call him on it. "All right, so no pizza. What do you like to eat? Get some of that."
10th-Apr-2009 11:55 pm (UTC)
Well, assuming that I blew the place to hell and killed everyone responsible on my way out, the first thing I'd do would be to take a bit of a run. I get antsy pent up. Then a good dinner and a very nice bier.
14th-Apr-2009 01:01 am (UTC)
"I think I'm too young for that."
14th-Apr-2009 01:14 am (UTC)
Bier is nutrition. Good carbs. But it's still a good idea to do something for yourself that you enjoy and that takes care of you. Connect yourself back to a normal, good life.
