Hey Awesome Sentient LSD Trip,

It's been a while since we've talked, I know. I've had some shit going on, you know how it is. Recently I was finally able to escape your caring but otherwise insane clutches, and found a door home. It was in my office, and it opened right into my other office. Imagine that. Very clever, Nexus.

Instead of boring you with the woe-begotten tale of how apparently said door home brought in a fuckload of ghosts and poltergeists into my hotel (don't worry, I've got a bottle of vodka and an exterminator's number), I'll ask a topical question, both seasonal and ironically personal:

What are you dressing up as for Halloween? I'm curious, and deeply bored.

Your pal,

Lady Godiva.

Stunning. Probable historical underwear, or the legend?

You know me, petal, I'm downright mythological.

Are curiosity and boredom and an obviously implied desire for distraction not enough? Tough crowd.

Somewhere in the Nexus, Gilmore ponders this for a minute.

And then slowly types out I don't know what to dress up as.

I dress as the same thing every year.

Tell me more about these ghosts of yours.

Congratulations on finding a way out, even if ghosts were involved.

Also, that link is awesome. The cursor that showed up and moved on its own had me a bit worried, for a moment, that it'd somehow taken control of my armor's systems? But once I figured out what was going on, it was funny.

As for Halloween... I'm not sure. The lazy route is to load up the voice changer software and be the Master Chief again. (Even better, I used to have to paint my armor green, but my current armor's plating color is programmable.)

Thank you, thank you.

My apologies for the momentary worry. I've noticed in my meandering about the place that some people have a spectacular habit of asking after things like that despite already being on the internet. I thought I'd help the kids out.

Hey, it's not lazy if it's efficient.

I am thinking I will be Maid Marion for Halloween. Except, instead of a lame damsel in distress, I'm gonna carry a bow and arrows. Maybe beat up some bad guys!

Fantastic. You know, the Disney version was pretty excellent. Wasting soldiers with pies.
11th-Oct-2009 03:25 am (UTC)
I'm thinking Evil Jasmine.

You don't know where I can rent a sabre-tooth tiger, do you?
11th-Oct-2009 03:49 am (UTC)
Bad ass.

Actually, I do. Around here, though, I'm not sure you can take them outside the Nexus.

I thought so!

There is that. I guess I'll have to improvise.

I want to be something thoroughly terrifying this year, so I think I'll dress up as a clown. If I do, one of those red blub noses that make honking sounds when you squeeze 'em is a must.

I love it when my accusations of this place being an LSD trip come true.

I'm typing with my nose!
