Have a slight, pale woman with red hair. She's sitting in one of the chairs, her knees drawn up to her chest, looking at her ring finger on her left hand. There's a mark there, where a ring has obviously resided for some time. There's no ring there any longer.
It had been a long time since his last visit, and Penny had been thinking, over countless sleepless, silent nights. He didn't remember her when they weren't together. And she sincerely hoped that he was finding happiness, somehow. Even if it meant with someone else.
That's why one evening she had found herself beside the fountain, holding the "wedding" ring in the palm of her hand. She couldn't wear it anymore. He wasn't hers anymore. She had to accept that.
So she had swallowed back tears as she bent down and pressed her lips to the glittering object. Whispering, she said she loved him, said goodbye, then tossed the ring into the fountain.
Now she's here, with the question closest to her heart.
